Birds-of-a-Feather

Bird-of-a-Feather sessions are an opportunity to network with peers and discuss topics of mutual interest in an informal, roundtable format.  The basic objective is all about Best Practice Sharing and Experience Exchange on hints, tips, and lessons learned.  Fundamentally, Birds-of-a-Feather conversation topics are based on individuals sharing top-of-mind issues they’d like to discuss openly with their peers from other organizations. At the Open Minds Summits there will be formal tables set for Birds-of-a-Feather sessions based on the following pre-defined topics of interest that were submitted.

* SMEs – Siemens or Partner Subject Matter Expert

Ad-Hoc sessions can also be accommodated.  A customer host and/or Siemens or Partner Subject Matter Expert will be assigned to each Birds-of-a-Feather session just to facilitate exchange of ideas and offer guidance and expertise.  Sessions will typically last 30 minutes to 1 hour. You could potentially sit in on two sessions in the Day One afternoon time block and get maximum value.

Ready to make your choice now; just send us a quick email with your top selection(s). Or, if you have a suggestion for an additional Birds-of-a-Feather topic you don’t see and feel other attendees may be interested – email us your idea.

Best Practice Sharing

Throughout the Education Breakout Sessions there will be customer participants sharing their best practices, case study information and success stories.  Customer participants will share the spotlight with the session speakers, allowing you to meet clients that have deployed or purchased the particular solution being covered in the session.  Time allotments will range from 10 – 20 minutes (depending upon participant preferences) and will allow for Q&A time with the attendee audience.  The Education Breakouts Series 3 sessions on the agenda will have the most time (one full hour) for this networking in presentation form.

Siemens wishes to acknowledge the customers that have already agreed to participation to date.  Many of these customers are members of the JUST-US national user organization, or they are participants in the Siemens Customer Reference Program.  Look for their names on the agenda to hear more about their success stories, take the opportunity to converse with them during the Birds-of-a-Feather sessions, or find them in the Solutions Showcase and Partner Pavilion during open networking time.
